The II International Congress “Sanatorium and resort treatment” was held in Moscow on March 17-18, 2016. It was devoted to the improvement of the sanatorium industry in the Russian Federation. The Congress was held in accordance with the plan of scientific and practical events of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for 2016.
The scientific program of the Congress was devoted to the study, accounting and protection of natural medicinal resources of Russia, conducting scientific research on the use of physical factors in the medical practice of sanatorium-resort organizations based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, studying the quality and medicinal properties of mineral waters for external and internal use, the impact of global climate change on human health, the development of new technologies in wellness and anti-aging medicine, staff training, as well as regulation and management of sanatorium-resort institutions.
The Congress included round-table discussions, workshops on relevant issues of sanatorium treatment, a council of specialists in sanatorium treatment, master classes and interactive presentations of modern technologies on medical equipment from leading manufacturers.
